Tom Flint

Thank you for taking an interest in my art. Below is a little background information about me and my work, for those who want to know more.

After gaining an arts foundation diploma at Anglia Higher Education College, Cambridge, in 1991, I moved to Norwich to begin a three year degree in fine art, sculpture, run by the City’s art school (now called NSAD). I graduated in 1994 having enjoyed my course, but initially decided to continue my art as a part-time endeavour until I found my feet.

In 1996 I was the first English artist to become resident at the highly-acclaimed Künstlerhaus in Speyer, Germany. The month-long residency culminated in a one-man exhibition of work. Press archives of the exhibition are now viewable at: www.kuenstlerbund-speyer.de/Archiv/1996/flint.html

In more recent times I have lessened the amount of sculpture I am producing and turned a little more towards my first love – drawing and painting – but still regard three-dimensional realization as an important part of my work.

If you would like to know more, or speak to me about a commission, then please send an email and I will get back to you as soon as possible. In the mean time, please enjoy looking at the images on this site.
